چکیده
This study was conducted to mitigate the adverse effects of sodium chloride stress on reproductive parameters tomatoes. experiment in greenhouse laboratory tropical horticultural science, department International agricultural development, Tokyo University Agriculture. The design a factorial CRD (completely randomized design) with five (0 mM, 50 100 150 and 200 mM) treatments four primings MPa, 0.4 0.8 1.2 MPa) treatments. Micro-Tom seeds were soaked polyethylene glycol (PEG6000). Salinity applied through irrigation water when first flower bloomed. Reproductive-related such as number flowers per plant, pollen viability, germination, tube length, fruits size yield plant measured. It observed that salinity affected tomato plants severely during flowering stage, many did not bear fruit due decrease viability. In addition, electrolyte leakage increased under salt stress, while priming decreased this parameter. Priming improved flowers, plant. best MPa for promoting enhancing tolerance stage. Keywords: physiology, priming, salinity.

Salinity is an ever-increasing problem in agriculture worldwide, especially in South Asia (India, Pakistan) and Australia. Improved genotypes that are well adapted to saline conditions are needed to enhance and sustain production in these areas. A screening of 263 accessions of chickpea, including 211 accessions from ICRISAT’s mini-core collection (10% of the core collection and 1% of the entir...

Citrus fruits are susceptible to salinity. In the present study, the reaction of trifoliate sour orange (Poncirus trifoliata L.) to the salinity stress at the presence of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) was investigated. Forty-day-old seedlings were inoculated with three species of AMF in combinations including Glomus mosseae + Glomus intraradices, Glomus mosseae + Glomus hoi, Glomus intrar...
